Anantnag: Under the banner of Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2024-25, Police in Anantnag inaugurated a football tournament for boys at the Shaheed Himayun Muzammil Memorial Government Degree College, Anantnag.
The event is aimed at promoting sportsmanship, discipline and constructive engagement among the youth of the district. A total of 08 teams from various areas are participating in the tournament, which is expected to witness spirited competition and camaraderie.
The opening match was played between FC Khanabal and FC Dialgam, with FC Dialgam securing victory in an exciting and closely contested game.
Through such initiatives, J&K Police continues to reaffirm its commitment to fostering youth development, encouraging positive recreational activities, and building strong community-police relations based on trust and cooperation.
