DDC Shopian reviews ongoing dev works in the Distt

SHOPIAN: To ensure strict enforcement of norms and guidelines from all categories of medical establishments, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta today chaired a meeting of Health, Revenue and Drug Control officers.
DC reviewed the tehsil wise operations of medical shops, clinics and clinical laboratories and their compliance to the norms and guidelines, deliberated upon the deficiencies and future course of action was decided.
Registration of establishments, installation of CCTVs, operation of Computerised Billing System and stock maintenance was stressed upon to ensure compliance across the district.
DC called for the cent percent Computerised Billing System and operation of CCTVs along with strict crackdown on medical shops operating in violations of norms.
He instructed for heightened inspections of medical shops and initiating strict action including suspensions, closures of medical establishments for violations.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone; ADC, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz; CMO, Tehsildars, DIO, Asst. Drug Controller, DNO Ayush and Drug Inspectors.
