City Police Station Jammu Solves Mobile Theft Case Within Hours

Jammu: Jammu Police on Saturday said that the City Police Station solved a mobile theft case within hours, arresting the accused and recovering the stolen device.
In a statement issued from the District Police Office, Jammu Police said that Varun Gupta, a resident of Lakhdatta Bazar, Jammu, reported the theft of his mobile phone from Malhotra Mohalla. “A case was registered under FIR No. 26/2025 under Section 303(2) BNS at Police Station City, Jammu. Acting swiftly, the police launched an investigation, apprehended the accused Nitin Khokhar, and successfully recovered the stolen phone”, reads the above quoted police statement. The operation, according to Police Statement, was carried out under the supervision of Vikram Bhau-JKPS, SDPO City North, Jammu, with a team led by SHO Police Station City, Jammu, Sh. Brahamdev Singh. Their swift action has been widely appreciated by the local community. In the concluding para of its above quoted statement Jammu Police reiterated its commitment to ensure law and order and providing prompt and effective service to the public.
