Four Killed, 17 Injured in Kangan Road Ganderbal

Srinagar: Four people, including three tourists and one local, lost their lives while 17 others sustained injuries in a tragic road accident near Gund Kangan in Ganderbal district on Sunday.

A senior police official told news agency JKNS that a cab collided with a bus near Gund Kangan, resulting in the death of four people and injuries to 17 others.

The official confirmed that among the deceased are three tourists and one local resident.

He added that all injured have been reffered to nearby hospital while three of the injured have been referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment, he said.

The condition of all injured individuals is reported to be stable, the officer said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
