Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir Chapter of the Indian Buildings Congress (IBC) held a meeting on Sunday and unanimously elected new office bearers to lead the organization.

Er. Aamir Ali was elected as the Chairman of the J&K Chapter, while Er. Rabinder Shekher, Former Superintending Engineer, was chosen as Vice Chairman. Er. Irfan Shafi Parrey was elected as Honorary Secretary, and Er. Ankur Nanda as Treasurer.

Other members elected to the committee include Er. Rafiq Ahmed Rafiq (Former Chief Engineer, R&B Kashmir), Er. Ravinder Kumar (Former Chief Engineer), Er. Bhushan Lal Rawal (Former Superintending Engineer), Er. Tariq A Saraf (Executive Engineer), and Er. Abdul Aziz Lone.

The newly elected office bearers expressed gratitude for the trust placed in them and pledged to work towards advancing the objectives of the Indian Buildings Congress in Jammu & Kashmir.

The meeting also discussed priorities for the upcoming months, including increasing visibility, expanding membership, and organizing capacity-building initiatives to promote the goals of the IBC in the region. (JKNS)
