In a significant step towards environmental conservation, Model Government Degree College Charar-e-Sharief, in collaboration with the Forest Department, organized a Plantation Drive under the Green Campus Initiative. The event aimed to promote ecological balance and encourage students to take an active role in preserving nature.
During the drive, a large number of saplings were planted within the college premises, reinforcing the commitment to a greener and healthier environment. Faculty members, students, and officials from the Forest Department participated in the initiative, emphasizing the importance of afforestation in mitigating climate change and enhancing biodiversity.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Raveena Hassan highlighted the significance of such initiatives in creating environmental awareness among students.
