DC Budgam inspects progress on construction/ restoration works  at Sheikhpora  Colony

BUDGAM:  The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today visited the construction site of Multipurpose Community Hall at Pandit Colony, Sheikhpora Budgam to assess the progress of construction work.

The DC inspected the ongoing construction work and reviewed its progress. He directed the executing agency to ensure high standards of quality and workmanship.

Emphasising the importance of timely completion, he directed the concerned departments to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe.

He also stressed the need for strict adherence to construction guidelines and the optimal use of resources.

The DC stressed that the Multipurpose Community Hall shall serve as a key social and community infrastructure for the PM package employees and their families residing within the Transit Accomodation at Sheikhpora, Budgam, and instructed the concerned departments accordingly to ensure its completion as soon as possible for the use of people.

Later, DC also inspected the restoration works of the boundary wall near the entrance of at the Colony, and also interacted with inhabitants and assured them that all genuine demands shall be looked into.

During the visit, the DC was accompanied by CPO Budgam, Engineers from  R&B Budgam, senior officials from the Relief Department and other concerned.
