Climate Research Station coming up at Nathatop

DC inspects progress of work, visits site for parking at Patnitop

UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai today inspected the ongoing work on Climate Research Station at village Mandlote Nathatop in Sub-Division Chenani. She also conducted a site visit to assess the proposed parking facility at Patnitop.

Divisional Forest Officer Navneet Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr Umesh Shan, CEO PDA, Davender Singh Bhau, Sub Divisional Magistrate Chenani, Gurdev Kumar and other officers accompanied the DC.

Inspecting the progress of the Climate Research Station at Nathatop, the DC instructed concerned officers to closely monitor the project and conduct regular quality checks to facilitate its timely completion.  She emphasized the need to accelerate the pace of work while maintaining quality standards.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to expedite the development of the parking facility at Patnitop for the convenience for tourists and visitors.

En route, she also reviewed progress of ongoing development projects at different places and directed the concerned departments to expedite work while adhering to the stipulated timelines.
