Baramulla,: A mega enrolment drive was launched in Government Secondary School Goripora Zone Dangerpora in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, witnessing an overwhelming response as 140 students were enrolled on the very first day.
The initiative, aimed at boosting student admissions in government schools, was spearheaded by Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla, Altaf Hussain Tara, along with Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Dangerpora, Mohammad Akbar Wani, and Heads of Institutions (HoIs).
Expressing satisfaction over the successful start of the drive, CEO Baramulla Altaf Hussain Tara stated, “It is heartening to see parents placing their trust in government schools. We are committed to providing quality education and ensuring a bright future for every child. No effort will be spared in shaping young minds and building their careers.”
Similarly, ZEO Dangerpora, Mohammad Akbar Wani stressed that the enrolment drive was just beginning and expected more enrollments in the coming days. “This is just the start. The initial response in Dangerpora has been encouraging, and we anticipate similar enthusiasm in the next clusters, including Botingoo and Bomai,” he said.
Meanwhile, parents too expressed their satisfaction and hope for their children’s education.
