celebration of International Women’s Day, Indian Army along with Government Women’s Degree College, Kupwara organised a motivational cum awareness event to honour the achievements and contributions of women worldwide. This special day, observed on March 8th each year, serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for gender equality and women’s rights.

The event included inspiring lecture by *Dr Shazia Lone* (Assistant Professor), panel discussions and interactive workshops designed to highlight the progress made and the challenges that remain. The event was attended both by the civil and military dignitaries. The aim of the event was to foster a more supportive environment for women.
