Budgam : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, on Thursday visited the construction sites of the Block Development Office/ BDC office at Block Headquarters Budgam and the Superintending Engineer (SE) R&B office building in Budgam to assess the progress of the ongoing work.
The DC conducted an extensive inspection of the construction sites.
While reviewing the progress of the BDC office complex, the DC directed officials and engineers to uphold high standards of quality and worksmanship. He emphasised the importance of timely completion and directed the concerned departments to ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe.
Stressing strict adherence to construction guidelines and the optimal use of resources, he called for efficient execution of the project.
Later, the DC visited the construction site of the SE R&B office building, where he directed the officials and executing agency to adhere strictly to the set deadlines. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to completing all the infrastructural projects in Budgam on time with quality work.
On the occasion, the DC stated that both the projects are important for enhancing administrative efficiency and delivering better services to the local population of Budgam.
The DC further said, that both office complexes are in the final stages of construction and directed the officials to ensure the pending work is completed at the earliest so that these facilities can be dedicated to the public soon.
During the site inspection, the DC was accompanied by Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Budgam, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Budgam, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP) Budgam, Executive Engineer REW Budgam, BDO Budgam, senior officers of R&B Budgam, and other senior officials.
