Karnah,: The Karnah-Chowkibal road remains under heavy snow as Sadhna Top records seven feet of snowfall. While the avalanche warning level has reduced from 4 to 3 today, the risk remains high. Beacon 109 RCC continues its efforts to restore connectivity despite challenging conditions.

Officials have declared the Chowkibal-NC Pass-SM Hill-Tangdhar road as “Red”, meaning it remains unsafe for movement due to a significant avalanche threat. However, clearance has begun in zones where the risk is minimal.

Ongoing Snow Clearance Operations:

Teepee to Chowkibal road has been cleared.
– Tangdhar to 46 kilometers.
– SM Hill to Tangdhar.
– Degree College to Tangdhar Helipad.
