Srinagar, Feb 19 (JKNS): In a major relief for students, the government has directed Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) to allow 25 students who were earlier denied admit cards due to technical errors or other issues to sit in the ongoing Class 10th annual regular examinations.

Joint Secretary in JKBOSE, Suraj Rathore, told news agency JKNS that 25 students who were earlier somehow not able to sit in exams will be now allowed to sit in exams as per government directive.

Rathore further said that, 25 students will include “Missed out student of GHSS Khanyar (Toiba Yaqoob) and roll number slips will be issued tomorrow.”

Earlier, Education Minister Sakina Masood Itoo, in a post on X as per news agency JKNS wrote, “As already assured, the government has directed JKBOSE authorities to issue admit cards to the remaining candidates for appearing in Class 10th, 11th, and 12th board examinations.”

The decision comes as a sigh of relief for affected students and parents, who had expressed anger over the uncertainty surrounding the exams. (JKNS)
