Jammu : Anand Jain took over as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K at Armed Police Headquarters J&K Jammu today on 03 February 2025.
On his arrival the ADGP Armed was presented Guard of Honour by a smart contingent of Armed Police. The senior officers who were present on the occasion, Smt. Sarah Rizvi, DIG IR Jammu, Shiv Kumar Sharma DIG JKS Range, Vinod Kumar, DIG AP Jammu, Dalip Kumar-SSP Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K and other GO’s and staff members of APHQ J&K.
Anand Jain, a 1999 batch IPS officer who was functioning as ADGP Jammu Zone, was transferred and posted as ADGP Armed J&K vice Vijay Kumar on January 30, 2025 vide order No. 79-Home of 2025 dated January 30, 2025 issued by Home Department J&K.
The ADGP inspected all the branches/ Sections of APHQ Complex and interacted with the concerned staff to get the first-hand information regarding their functioning.
