Bandipora:-Director of Animal Husbandry Kashmir, Dr. Parvinder Singh, inaugurated four milk vans in Sumbal Bandipora under the Integrated Dairy Development Scheme (IDDS).
He was accompanied by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bandipora, GM Lone, and other officials.
This initiative promotes dairy development and improves local farmers’ livelihoods. The established units, worth ₹8 lakhs, benefit from the IDDS scheme, which provides incentives and subsidies for dairy units, milk collection, and market infrastructure.
The scheme aims to boost dairy production, enhance milk quality, and increase farmers’ income.
