Jammu: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah has urged the public to un-follow and avoid engaging with the Instagram page “Bhaderwah Confession,” which allegedly spreads fake stories and defames individuals.
As per an advisory issued by Additional Deputy commissioner Baderwah a copy of which is in possesion of news agency JKNS reads, It has come to the notice of Bhaderwah Administration that a fake controversial Instagram account BHADERWAH CONFESSION PAGE is circulating on social media (Instagram) platform for allegedly defaming multiple individuals by sharing their personal lives. The above said page had used names of various individual to spread false stories causing significant damage and defame to their personal lives and has adversely affected reputation of many individuals.
We urge the public of Bhaderwah through medium of this advisory to immediately un-follow such pages that thrive on creating controversy and harming individual reputations. The police authorities have also lodged the FIR against the said culprit who creates the said Account on Instagram, it reads.
Moreover, public of Bhaderwah is also advised not to share, comment on the said account which creates panic among the public and immediately un-follow the said page.
Advisory further reads, The Police is closely watching the activities on this fake Social Media Instagram Page and the Creater as well as the followers may face penal actions under relevant provision of Law. (JKNS)
