Srinagar : A meeting with retired police personnel was held on Tuesday at District Police Lines Handwara to review welfare measures and address grievances of the retirees. The meeting was chaired by SSP Handwara, Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary.
During the session, SSP Handwara warmly welcomed the participants, assuring them that J&K Police remains committed to their welfare. He emphasized that retirees are an integral part of the police family and can approach any officer or police unit at any time of need.
The retired personnel raised various issues, and the chair assured them that their genuine concerns would be raised to appropriate authorities for prompt resolution. He reiterated that the welfare of retired police personnel and their families is a top priority for the department. The SSP also highlighted the ongoing measures taken by the police department for the welfare of retired personnel and their families.
