Jammu District Property Rates for 2025 Announced

Srinagar/ Jammu: The Jammu District Valuation Committee, headed by the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, has announced the market value rates for immovable property in Jammu district for the calendar year 2025.

In a notification issued on a copy of which lies with the news agency JKNS, the rates have been set in accordance with the J&K Preparation and Revision of Market Value Guidelines Rules, 2011, and subsequent amendments.

It reads as, the rates which will be applicable from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, have been approved by the Divisional Valuation Board.

The notification also specifies that for rural areas, the rates for un-irrigated land will apply to uncultivable land. In urban areas, where land is not classified as ‘Residential’ or ‘Commercial,’ the applicable rates will be based on the land’s use as defined in the area’s Master Plan. These updated property rates are part of an ongoing effort to standardize and revise market values for land in Jammu.—(JKNS)
