Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday evening expressed shock and grief over the demise of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 92 as he in post on “X” formerly called twitter said that nation has lost a towering politician and a distinguish luminary.
The Office Of J&K Lt Governor quoted Manoj Sinha in back to back two posts on “X” as saying “My heartfelt condolences to the family member and admirers of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. May God give them the strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss. Omar Shant!”. In another post on “X” LG Sinha said “During his long career in public service FDr Manmohan Singh Ji made extremely significant contributions to India’s growth. As Prime Minister he took bold steps for nation building in his passing away the nation has lost a towering politician and a distinguished luminary”.
