DCDRC Srinagar settles 61 Complaints, disburses Rs. 1.02 Cr

Srinagar: The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (DCDRC) Mominabad Srinagar in accordance with the J&K Legal Services Authority Calendar of Activities for the year 2024, held 09 Lok Adalat’s during the year 2024 at District Court Complex Mominabad Srinagar. The said Lok Adalats was aimed at amicably resolving Consumer Cases.
By holding Lok Adalats, DCDRC Srinagar continues its mission to provide equitable access to justice for all, ensuring that litigants can resolve their disputes quickly and amicably without the prolonged procedures typically associated with conventional Courts.
A total of 134 complaints were taken up for settlement in the said Lok Adalats, out of which 61 complaints were settled amicably and an amount of Rs 1,02,03,794 was disbursed in favour of complainants in these cases.
