ACB Srinagar Celebrates Int’l Anti-Corruption Day, Holds Series Of Events

Srinagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Srinagar branch Monday celebrated International Anti-corruption day with the theme for the day as “Uniting the Youths Against Corruption, Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity”.
The event was observed across Srinagar and its two adjoining districts Ganderbal and Budgam. The Srinagar branch of ACB observed the day at six locations including different colleges and Central University of Kashmir Ganderbal. The main event was organised at SP College Srinagar which was presided over by SSP ACB Srinagar, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Wani. Among others Principal SP college, Dr Mohammad Farooq Mir and faculty members besides students participated in the event. Similarly, other events were organised at Government Degree Colleges Khansaheb, Beerwah, Ganderbal and Women’s College Srinagar.
During the events, the officers from ACB Srinagar and faculty members of concerned institutions deliberated on importance of the day. A debate competition on the subject was also organised in which students and guest speakers of concerned institutions participated. Meanwhile, the students who participated in the debate competition were felicitated with commendation certificates and mementos.
