Road Mishap in Kishtwar Claims 4 Lives, Leaves 13 Others Injured

Srinagar: At least four persons have been killed even as thirteen others injured in a tragic road mishap in Dangdoor area of Kishtwar district.

An official privy to the incident told news agency JKNS, that a cruiser vehicle, bearing registration number JK17 6576, carrying employees of an under-construction Power project company met with an accident, and fell into a deep gorge near Treethal Nala at Dachan.

Soon after the accident, locals and police, as per the official, started a rescue operation, and recovered bodies of four persons and fourteen others in injured condition.

“The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment,” the official said. (JKNS)
