BSF Organizes ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ at Karnah to Promote Drug-Free Living

Srinagar: 89th Battalion Border Security Force organized “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” at Government Higher Secondary School Tad, Karnah. The event was led by Shri Pradeep Kumar, Commandant, 89th Battalion, along with other officers present Dr. Abhishek Sharma (CMO/SG) 89th Battalion Border Security Force. In which 05 officers of Border Security Force, 02 subordinate officers, 15 other personnel and Assistant Sub Inspector Riyaz Ahmed, SHO Police Outpost Tad, Karnah, Head Teacher of Government Higher Secondary School Tad, Shri Ghulam Mustafa along with 20 teachers also participated.

During the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan event, 73 students of the school and about 13 people from the village were also present.

During the program, all the children were encouraged to stay away from any addiction and lead a good life. The children were educated by the officials present and a short film/video was shown to motivate the child to stay away from any addiction. After the program, all the participants were served refreshments.

In the end, while thanking all those present, the objective of this event was explained as to how we can keep ourselves drug-free and how we can help in keeping it away from others.
