Jammu: The Additional Director General (ADG) (Western Command), Satish S Khandare, on Wednesday wrapped up his three-day visit to the Jammu Frontier.
Earlier, on his arrival, he was received by the IG DK Boora and senior officers of the Jammu Frontier.
He also called on Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir.
IG BSF gave a detailed presentation to the ADG BSF, covering all the critical aspects of border security and domination along the IB of Jammu.
ADG BSF visited the Kathua and Samba border areas, where he was briefed by the Sector Commander and Battalion Commandants about the operational aspects.
On Wednesday, the official spokesman said that the ADG BSF visited the Line of Control and interacted with the troops and praised them for performing their duties with dedication and professionalism.
He also flagged off the Bharat Darshan Tour for 34 schoolchildren selected from bordering villages in Poonch and Rajouri districts.
