Northern Command Army Commander reviews operational preparedness in Nagrota

Jammu: Northern Command Army Commander Lieutenant General M V Suchindra on Tuesday reviewed operational preparedness during his visit to the Nagrota based White Knight Corps here.

“LtGenMVSuchindraKumar, #ArmyCdrNC, visited #WhiteKnightCorps to review the operational preparedness,” the NorthernCommand posted on X.

It further posted that the Army Commander exhorted all ranks to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and alertness in anti-terrorist operations.

However, the General-Officer-Commanding, White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva earlier visited the Kishtwar to take a review of ongoing counter terror operations.

Search operation is being carried out in the remote belt of Kishtwar district after terrorists killed two Village Defence Guards (VDGs).

On November 10, one Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) was killed and three army jawans sustained injuries in a gunfight with terrorists that had abducted and killed two innocent villagers (Village Defence Guards) in Kishtwar.
