Bandipora : In response to recent news reports raising concerns about the absence of District Administration officials at an event organized in Zurimanz by the Mahigeeran and Singarakashan Association Bandipora in collaboration with the Sopore Fishermen Union, and attended by MLAs from Bandipora, Sonawari, Sopore, and Wagoora Kreeri, the District Administration Bandipora has issued a clarification, debunking the allegations circulating in the media.
The District Administration clarifies that no formal invitation or prior intimation was received from the organizers, which would have enabled the participation of district officials in this event.
The District Administration remains fully committed to supporting events organized by government or private agencies that benefit the community and the environment. It actively encourages such initiatives and ensures that relevant officials are present at these gatherings whenever possible.
The Administration further requests that agencies intending to conduct such events provide advance notice, which would enable the Administration to extend the necessary support and ensure the participation of officers and officials.
