Police organises practical & legal training for police personnel in Ganderbal

November 08: “`Police in Ganderbal, in collaboration with department of law, School of Legal Studies (CUK), organised practical & legal training for Police officials on the new criminal laws at Central University of Kashmir Tulamulla Ganderbal. The event was chaired by Senior Prosecuting officer Ganderbal Shri Abdul Aziz Zaindari. The programme witnessed active participation from Practicing Lawyers, Law Students and Police Officers/Officials who gathered to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the new legal framework.

The purpose of organising this programme was to generate awareness and bring out the highlights of the three criminal laws. The interactive sessions provided a platform for officers and officials to engage in discussions, seek guidance, and deepen their insights into the intricacies of the new Criminal laws.

 

On the said occasion, officers & students from law background talked about the amended criminal laws and asked the participants that these new laws are being implemented for speedy justice and are time bound. Moreover, Sr. PO Ganderbal & other Law instructors imparted practical training to the participants with a basic understanding of the New Criminal Laws.“`
