Officers from stakeholder departments, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Sericulture, Fisheries, floriculture etc presented a detailed update on the current status of program registrations across varied components, departmental approvals and project deployments. The DDC, who is also the Chairman of the District level Committee (DLC), reviewed 29 projects of agriculture and allied departments of the district.

The DC emphasized that the HADP is a major step towards creating a sustainable and profitable agricultural ecosystem. “The programme aims to empower farmers with knowledge and tools that can help them enhance their productivity and profitability while also contributing to the overall growth of the agriculture sector”, he added.

DDC directed the concerned officers to improve the awareness among farmers during Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (KSA) and also stressed upon the officers to gear up the work to achieve the set targets.

The DC set clear timelines for achieving specific targets under HADP and demanded regular progress reports from concerned departments. He assured all possible support from the district administration to facilitate the success of HADP.
