Sopore, Nov 02: The Franklin Institute in north Kashmir’s Sopore celebrated its annual day with a grand event attended by students, parents, and dignitaries.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore S A Raina (JKAS) graced the occasion as the chief guest, while other notable attendees included Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Sopore Abdul Salaam and former president of the Sopore Municipal Council, Ms. Masarat Nissar Kar,Station House Officer Sopore Ayaz Gelani,Chairman Franklin School Sopore,Principal Hera Public School sopore Shabair Ahmad ,who were guests of honor.
The event featured a vibrant display of cultural performances by students, showcasing the rich heritage of the region. In addition to the cultural programs, the dignitaries shared their insights and encouragement with students and parents.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC Sopore commended the institute for its dedication to quality education and holistic development.
Ms. Masarat Nissar Kar, in her address, emphasized the importance of focusing on the quality of education over infrastructure alone. “It’s truly impressive to see the talent and enthusiasm displayed here. I urge parents to prioritize quality education over just the physical infrastructure of a school,” she said, lauding the school’s efforts.
Principal Hilal Ahmed, along with the institute’s staff, welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude for the support from parents and the community. The event concluded with the distribution of mementos and certificates to participants, recognizing their efforts and achievements.
