KUPWARA, OCTOBER 25: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan on Friday presided over a day-long capacity building training program (CBTP) under the ambitious Project YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan) at meeting Hall of DC Office Kupwara.

Project Yuva is aimed at enhancing the skills of District and Sectoral level Officers of line departments for its effective implementation. The training programme was organized by the District Employment & Counselling Centre Kupwara in collaboration with District Administration Kupwara to equip the Officers with the necessary knowledge and expertise to successfully execute Project YUVA’s objectives.

ADDC Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmed Bhat, Deputy Director Employment Kupwara, Arshid Qadir and other officers from line departments attended the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that Project YUVA aims to bring together various government schemes under one umbrella. The capacity –building will enable Youth to navigate and benefit from government schemes and resources while fostering a more efficient and converged support system.

She lauded the initiative and assured full support and cooperation from the District Administration to ensure the successful execution of Project YUVA. She emphasized the importance of such capacity-building programs in achieving the desired results.

Ayushi urged the participants to make the capacity building programme more constructive and provide the feedback.

The training session saw the participation of District and Sectoral level Officers from different line departments.

During the training programme, Resource Persons (Experts) gave an insightful overview of the program, outlining its significance and long-term benefits.

While experts provided an in-depth briefing on the project’s goals, strategies, and expected outcomes, offering a detailed roadmap for its implementation. Experts said that project Yuva will be AI- based, and it could leverage AI- tools to enhance accessibility, personalize learning and streamline access to government schemes.

This event marked a significant step toward empowering officers of line departments to contribute effectively to the goals of Project YUVA.
