The rankings, based on 14 evaluation parameters, were revealed at an event at Hotel Leela Ambience, Gurugram, on 19 October 2024. In the Central Government (Day) Schools category, Army Public School, Delhi Cantt secured the 1st position with an impressive score of 1192, while Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi, ranked 3rd with a score of 1166. These top placements highlight the exceptional educational standards upheld by AWES institutions.

AWES’s contribution is especially significant in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, where its schools have played a critical role in spreading education in some of the most remote and challenging areas. Army Goodwill Public School, Rajouri and Army Goodwill School, Hajan ranked 68th and 69th nationally, showcasing the success of AWES’s educational efforts in regions affected by conflict.

In the J&K state rankings, Army Public School, BD Bari (Samba) ranked 24th, followed by other prominent AWES schools such as APS Udhampur, APS Jammu Cantt, APS Ratnuchak, and APS Nagrota. These schools not only provide quality education but also instill values of discipline, patriotism, and leadership, equipping students from the region with the tools they need to contribute to nation-building.

AWES also takes pride in its initiatives to support higher education, offering scholarships and career guidance that help students pursue professional courses in leading institutions across India and abroad. The society’s schools have consistently produced high achievers in both academics and extracurricular activities, with students excelling in fields such as sports, debate, and leadership.

AWES’s schools, especially in Jammu & Kashmir, are making a lasting impact by spreading education, fostering leadership, and contributing to the nation’s growth. Through their unwavering commitment to holistic development, these institutions are playing a key role in shaping the future of the nation’s youth, particularly in regions where educational opportunities have been historically limited.
