Power Controller Kashmir issues shutdown schedule of various lines for branch cutting, maintenance works

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 17: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out erection of poles in connection with augmentation of conductor 0.05 ACSR to 0.1 ACSR of 33KV Awantipora- Airfield Line, the shutdown of AIS Awantipora (180 MVA) shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Airfield, Quil LIS Stage-Ist shall remain off on 23, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 30th October from 09 am to 05:00 am, and no area shall remain affected.

Similarly, to carry out the augmentation of 33KV Pampore-Pulwama line, the shutdown of AIS Pampore (200 MVA) shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Kadlabal shall remain off while power supply to the Kadlabal Wagoora area shall remain affected from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 20 and 22nd of October, 2024.

Also, to carry out branch cutting, the shutdown of 132/133 KV Nihalpora Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kulhama and Tangmarg shall remain off, while power supply to the Tangmarg main and Kulhama areas shall remain affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 21st of October, 2024.

Likewise, to carry out twinning/ stabilization and branch cutting of 33KV line, the shutdown of 132/133 KV Amargarh Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Arampora, Panzipora, Sher Colony and Bugoo shall remain off, while power supply to the Arampora, Sher Colony, Nigli and Panzipora areas shall remain affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 22nd of October, 2024.
