REASI, OCTOBER 15: In a decisive step towards expediting the completion of the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, the Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan today chaired a meeting with stakeholders, including National Highway Authority of India functionaries.

 

The discussions focused on addressing the pending issues related to Package 17 of the expressway project falling Reasi District. The DC assured them of every possible help in removing all hindrance to facilitate expeditious completion of the project.

 

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the urgent need to resolve any bottlenecks that could hinder the progress of this strategically important project. He issued clear instructions to NHAI officials to fast-track all pending matters, ensuring the work proceeds without further delays.

 

He further assured the NHAI team of the administration’s full support in facilitating smooth operations. “The district administration will extend all possible assistance to ensure the project moves ahead swiftly. We are committed to working closely with NHAI to remove any hurdles,” he added.

 

The Deputy Commissioner also urged all stakeholders to maintain coordination to prevent any disruptions in the work schedule. Meeting was attended by Project officer NHAI, PIO NHAI Udhampur and other NHAI officials.
