SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 14: Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, Shailendra Kumar, today convened a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements under Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP), CAPEX and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes at agriculture complex, Lal Mandi.

Present in the meeting were Mission Director HADP, Rahul Yadav, Secretary Technical APD, G A Sofi; Special Secretary APD, Shafat Iqbal; Director Finance APD, Hamkant Prashar, Director Finance APD, Tabassum; Director Agriculture Kashmir, Director Sheep Husbandry Kashmir, Director Animal Husbandry Kashmir, Director Fisheries and other officers of the concerned departments.

 

During the meeting, implementation of projects under the Holistic Agriculture Development Program besides different Centrally Sponsored Schemes being executed by the department of Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries department were discussed in detail.

 

Addressing the meeting, Shailendra Kumar highlighted the importance of expeditious and judicious expenditure of funds under different projects of HADP and CAPEX and other CSSs. He asked the officers that funds allocated under HADP projects, different components of centrally sponsored schemes must be expended in a time bound manner. He reiterated the importance of maintaining the highest level of transparency and accountability during all the expenditures.

 

He directed the officers to reach out to the farmers of every area and make them aware about HADP besides latest farmer friendly technologies in these sectors. He asked the officers to work in collaboration with the farmer communities for successful implementation of different projects at grass root level.
