Kishtwar Oct 07: J&K Police in district kishtwar organizes awareness program on cyber crime, Social crime, Juvenile Crime and druge abuse for students of Furqan academy High schoól on Monday.
On the directions of SSP Kishtwar Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, officers of District Police Kishtwar, including Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar Dr. Ishan Gupta and SHO PS Kishtwar and IC PP Hidyal, visited Furqan Academy High School, Kishtwar, and conducted an awareness program aimed at educating students on various issues including cyber crime, social crime, juvenile crimes, and drug abuse.
The officers highlighted the importance of staying vigilant against cyber threats, the consequences of engaging in unlawful activities, and the dangers of substance abuse. The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and gain insights into the legal and social impacts of these crimes. The officers also provided guidance on how to stay safe online and encouraged the students to report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
In his message, SSP Kishtwar Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS said that the police are working on multiple fronts to ensure the safety and well-being of the community, with a special focus on tackling issues like cyber crime, juvenile delinquency, social crimes, and drug abuse.
