REASI, OCTOBER 06: The District Election Officer (DEO) Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan today held a meeting with contesting candidates and representatives of political parties of the district Reasi at DC office complex in order to discuss the arrangements of counting of votes which is going to take place on 8th October.
DEO briefed them about the whole layout process of counting and assured them that the process will be smooth and transparent as per ECI guidelines. He also took suggestions and queries from the representatives and assured them of full cooperation.
DEO urges them to cooperate and maintain order and discipline during the counting process. Instructions were given to them that no entry in premises will be allowed without proper identity cards.
He urged them to exhibit the highest standards of conduct in the electoral process and strictly adhere to the norms especially on the Model Code of Conduct.
The meeting was also attended by the RO AC-57 Anshumali Sharma, RO AC-58 Piyush Dhotra, RO AC-56 Mazahir Hussain, Dy. DEO Rakesh Kumar and other officials.
