KATHUA, OCTOBER 05: A one-day training program for Counting Supervisors and Counting Assistants was conducted under the supervision of District Election Officer Dr. Rakesh Minhas at the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Kathua.
The session aimed at equipping the staff with in-depth knowledge of the protocols to be strictly followed during the vote-counting process, with special focus on the counting of Postal Ballots.
DEO emphasized the importance of accurate accounting procedures, especially while handling Postal Ballots, and provided clear guidelines on valid reasons for ballot rejection.
Key aspects of the vote-counting process were clarified during the training, addressing any doubts the participants had.
