Srinagar, 29 Sep: Srinagar Police has taken swift action against individuals spreading sectarian and inflammatory content on social media, while 3 individuals were summoned for questioning.
In a post on X Srinagar police wrote, Apropos to the posting of sectarian and inflammatory content on social media, 03 individuals have been summoned for questioning, and appropriate legal proceedings are underway.
The public is urged to refrain from sharing or posting such material, as exacting legal action would be enforced against violators, reads the post.
This move aims to maintain communal harmony and prevent the spread of harmful content. (DSN)
