UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 23: To ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming General Elections for Legislative Assembly 2024, the District Election Cell Udhampur today organized a comprehensive training programme for polling staff for managing home voting and postal ballot services.
The training was conducted under the chairmanship of District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai, here at Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Udhampur.
The primary objective of the training was to facilitate voting for senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities in the upcoming Assembly elections.
DEO emphasized the importance of this hands-on training for the staff, encouraging them to make the most of the opportunity to ensure they execute their duties efficiently. She further highlighted that their roles are critical in upholding the principles of free, fair and transparent elections.
