BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 23: The District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Monday conducted a thorough inspection of the strong rooms designated for the 15-Bandipora and 14-Sonawari Assembly Constituencies.
The visit was part of the preparations for the upcoming Assembly Elections 2024 in the district.
During the inspection at the Mini Secretariat Bandipora, the DEO reviewed the ongoing commissioning process of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT).
Additionally, the DEO visited the strong room at Government Degree College Sumbal to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place for the Sonawari AC.
The DEO emphasized the importance of teamwork and dedication among all officials and staff involved in election duties, stressing that their efforts are crucial for ensuring a smooth and transparent electoral process.
He instructed the officers and officials to work with the highest level of efficiency and integrity to uphold the democratic process.
