ADC Handwara reviews arrangements for celebration of Eid- Milad-Nabi (SAW), Friday Following

HANDWARA, SEPTEMBER 11: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather today convened a meeting of concerned officers at Environment Hall Handwara to review the arrangements put in place for celebration of Eid- Milad- Nabi (SAW) and Friday Following Eid-Milad-Nabi (SAW).
During the meeting, the ADC instructed all the officers to ensure adequate arrangements at major shrines and prominent locations in the Sub Division Handwara.
He emphasized the importance of making all necessary arrangements for essential services to facilitate the general public, particularly devotees visiting the shrines. He directed the concerned officers to ensure sanitation at Shrine, availability of drinking water tankers, uninterrupted power supply, efficient transportation of devotees, security measures and other necessary amenities.
He also instructed Tehsildars of the Sub Division and other officials to make detailed arrangements in their respective Tehsils for ensuing Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) besides instructing them to conduct personal visits to prominent religious places.
Concerned were also instructed to intensify market checking to keep a check on rates in the market.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Handwara, Zeeshan Khan; Tehsildar Villgam, Aijaz Ahmad, as well as officials,officers from Power, Health, PHE,Food and Civil Supplies, and other concerned departments.
