GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 10: The Inter School District level Thang-Ta competition, organized under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) initiative, concluded successfully today at Qamaria Higher Secondary School Saloora.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Girls students across the district, showcasing their skills in the traditional martial art of Thang-Ta.
In a parallel event, Zone Hariganiwan conducted a Tug of War competition under the banner of SVEEP- 2024.
The initiative aims to engage youth in sports while promoting awareness about the electoral process, highlighting the importance of active participation in democracy.
The event was marked by high energy and sportsmanship as students from various schools competed in a spirited manner.
Both events are part of the broader SVEEP initiative by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Ganderbal, aimed at fostering youth engagement through sports while simultaneously raising awareness about voter education.
