Shopian, Sept 5 (JKNS): Police Heerpora apprehended seven individuals along with two Alto vehicles near Danish Resorts, Padpawan, and recovered ₹5 lakh in cash, seven mobile phones and one Thunderbolt Ball (Tral Gola) from their possession.
The apprehended individuals have been identified as Arshid Ahmad Wani, son of Mohd Subhan Wani, resident of Khurri Batpora, Kulgam; Syed Gulzar Ahmad, son of Syed Qamar Din, resident of Lakhripora, Kulgam; Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, son of Habibullah Bhat, resident of Bagi Islam, Baramulla; Safeeruddin Mir, son of Haneef Mir, resident of Raj Ghat, Baramulla; Abdul Rashid Kirmani, son of Gh Nabi Kirmani, resident of Rawalpora, Srinagar; Mohd Shafi Mir, son of Ab Ahad Mir, resident of Zaloora, Sopore; and Imtiyaz Ahmad Bakloo, son of Gh Mohd Bakloo, resident of Pushroo Shungas, Anantnag.
Police said the two Alto vehicles bear registration numbers JK01Q-1311 and JK03B-5955.
All seven individuals have been arrested, and further details will be shared by police. Investigation into the matter is underway. (JKNS)
