Devsar Sep 2: MLA Devsar Peerzada Feroz Ahmad Shah today laid the foundation stone for the upgradation of the playfield at Sopat, with the project being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹1 crore.
The project aims to promote sports activities among the youth and provide them with improved sports infrastructure and better playing facilities in the area.
Speaking to local residents on the occasion, MLA Devsar said that he is committed to the overall development and betterment of Devsar Constituency. He said that several more developmental projects are expected to be taken up in the coming times, with the aim of strengthening infrastructure and ensuring balanced development across the constituency.
He said that efforts are being made to ensure that every area of Devsar witnesses visible progress and development, and expressed hope that the ongoing and upcoming projects would contribute significantly to the welfare of the people, particularly the youth.
The local residents welcomed the initiative and expressed hope that the upgraded playfield would provide a much-needed platform for young sports enthusiasts to pursue their sporting talent.
