₹9 Lakh Financial Assistance Approved for Fire-Affected Families in Karnah from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund

Karnah, July 14(JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has approved financial assistance of ₹9 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for nine families affected by recent fire incidents in Tehsil Karnah. Under the relief package, each affected family will receive ₹1 lakh.

The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference expressed its gratitude to the Chief Minister for sanctioning the assistance, stating that the government’s timely support reflects its commitment to standing with people during times of distress.

The party also appreciated the dedicated efforts and persistent follow-up of MLA Karnah Javed Ahmad Mirchal, whose continuous advocacy on behalf of the affected families played a key role in securing the relief.

The beneficiaries of the financial assistance include Fakhrat Begum, Fareeda Fatima, Nasreena Begum, Ameer Din, Javed Ahmad, Khurshid Ahmad, Amina Begum, Farooq Qureshi, and Danish Qayoom, with each receiving ₹1 lakh, bringing the total sanctioned amount to ₹9 lakh.

The National Conference congratulated all the beneficiary families and prayed for their speedy recovery and rehabilitation. The party reiterated its commitment to standing with the people in times of hardship and assured continued support for the welfare of the public. (JKNS)
