She said that the bodies of two people were recovered on Wednesday and subsequently, three more bodies were recovered the next day.

She further said that one body each was recovered yesterday and today, thus the death toll has touched seven.

Aditi Singh said that among the dead, two people were from Uttar Pradesh, one each from Chamba and Nurpur and the process of identification of three was still in progress.

The Kangra District Additional Superintendent Police said that bad weather, rains and low visibility in the area was being faced by the search teams which proved as a hurdle in the recovery of the bodies.

Now, only one body remains to be searched out and search operation will continue tomorrow too, she added.
