Srinagar, June 19 (JKNS): The decision on summer vacations in Kashmir schools is likely to be taken tomorrow, with a tentative date of vacations from July 1.
A senior government official on Thursday told news agency JKNS that a decision regarding summer vacations in schools across Kashmir is expected to be taken tomorrow, with vacations tentatively scheduled to begin from July 1.
Meanwhile, the school timing has been revised from Saturday, June 22. As per the new schedule, schools within Srinagar Municipal limits will function from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, govt official said.
Schools in the outskirts falling outside the SMC limits will operate from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, the official added. (JKNS)
