Man Dies After Falling From Tree in Heerpora, Shopian

Shopian, Jun 15 (JKNS): A 47-year-old man from Heerpora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district lost his life after falling from a tree on Sunday afternoon officials said.

Sources told news agency JKNS, the deceased has been identified as Waseem Sheikh, a resident of Heerpora.

Waseem was injured after he accidentally fell from a tree in his native village, they said.

He was initially shifted to District Hospital Shopian and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for5 specialized treatment. However, upon arrival at SMHS, doctors declared him brought dead, they said.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
