J&K Govt Nominates Nodal Officers for 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries

Srinagar, June 13 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir administration has nominated nodal departments and officers to oversee key thematic areas ahead of the upcoming 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries, scheduled to be held in November 2025.

As per Government Order a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, five thematic areas have been identified for focused policy preparation. These include, Early Childhood Education: Laying the Foundation, Schooling: Building Blocks, Skilling: Future Ready Workforce, Higher Education: Knowledge Economy, Sports & Extracurriculars: Beyond Classrooms

To oversee these areas, the government has nominated the following nodal departments along with the respective administrative secretaries as nodal officers, Social Welfare Department for Early Childhood Education, School Education Department for Schooling, Skill Development Department for Skilling, Higher Education Department for Higher Education, Youth Services & Sports Department for Sports & Extracurriculars.

These nodal officers have been tasked with preparing Union Territory specific notes and feedback documents for each sub-theme. They are required to upload these documents to the designated portal within the stipulated timeline. (JKNS)
