Poonch: In a tragic incident, an 8-year-old boy died after falling from the roof of his house in Mangnar village of Poonch district on Thursday.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the child accidentally fell from the rooftop of his home. He has been identified as Vikrant Verma, a resident of Mangnar in Tehsil Haveli.
He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Poonch. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead, they said.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
